Key Statistics about sight loss 2021

The facts and figures in this document consider people experiencing sight loss.  This does not include all people with eye disease, some of whom are not yet experiencing significant sight loss. This may be a result of a slowly-progressing eye disease or one for which there is treatment that may prevent or delay sight loss.
